2025 NSW State Titles

Hosted by Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW), Mudgee and District Branch Inc (N18). Windamere Regional Shooting Complex, Castlereagh Highway, 36Km South of Mudgee.

The titles will be conducted in accordance with SSAA CSD Rulebook No. 5, 2022.

Thursday 15th May – Range and camping ground set-up, practice in afternoon.

Friday 16th May, Pistol Events, Cadet & Trainer: Range 2
Firearm Scrutineering 8.00am. Briefing at 8.40am. Competition begins 9.00am. Class 1, 2 & 3 pistols. Competitors may only shoot two classes; Class 3 is Ungraded.

Service Pistol – Classes 1, 2 and 3.
Event 1: Match 04 Standing Deliberate 15m Open & Junior.
Event 2: Match 02 3 Position Deliberate 25m Open & Junior.
Event 3: Match 06 Standing Rapid Fire 15m (Shot twice) Open & Junior.
Event 4: Match 01 3P Core Event Graded & Junior.
Event 5: Match 01 Chairmans Challenge (Class 1 Pre 1946) Open & Junior.

Trainer & Cadet Rifle
Event 6: Match 25 3 Position Event for Training Rifle & Cadet Graded & Junior.

Saturday 17th May, Rifle Events: Range 2
Medal Presentation to preceed events.
Rifle Scrutineering 8.00am. Briefing at 8.40am. Competition begins 9.00am.

Standard Rifles – Classes A, B, C. Competitors may also shoot in one of the following classes:
Modified / Accurised Rifles, OR International Optic Rifle, OR Optical Standard Rifle.

Event 7: Match 10. Standard Rifle – Deliberate 300m. Graded & Junior.
Event 8: Match 10. Accurised Rifle – Deliberate 300m. Open & Junior.
Event 9: Match 10. IO & OS Class Optical Rifles – Deliberate 300m. Open & Junior.

Event 10: Match 01 Standard Rifle – 3P Core Event. Graded & Junior.
Event 11: Match 01 Accurised Rifle – 3P Core Event. Open & Junior.
Event 12: Match 01 IO & OS Class Optical Rifles – 3P Core Event. Open & Junior.

Event 13: Match 04 Standard Rifle – Rapid Fire B 100m. Open & Junior.
Event 14: Match 04 Accurised Rifle – Rapid Fire B 100m. Open & Junior.
Event 15: Match 04 IO & OS Class Optical Rifles – Rapid Fire B 100m. Open & Junior.

Charity Event: Event 16 – Class 4 Pistol Event – 20 rounds required
Entry $5, proceeds to be donated to Breast Cancer Research.

CSD NSW State AGM to be held after Saturday matches, at approximately 5pm.

Sunday 18th September, Rifle Events, Range 2:
Medal Presentation to preceed events.
Rifle Scrutineering 8.30am. Competition begins 9.30am.

Event 17: Match 16: Long Range Event A – 12 Rounds per class
F1 Class 300m on Core Target, F2 300m on the Mini Core Target
T/J 300 Mtrs on the T4 Target. Open event.

Event 18: Match 17: Long Range Event B – 10 Rounds per class
F1 Class 300m on Core Target, F2 300m on the Mini Core Target
T/J 300 Mtrs on the T4 Target. Open event.

Optical Class medal and Top Gun award Presentation at conclusion of Sunday events.
Medals for all events, Top Gun and Top Gun Junior.
Top Gun Pistol Award based on aggregate scores for Class 1 & 2 Pistol: Events 1 – 4
Tog Gun Rifle Award based on aggregate scores of Standard Rifle: Events 7, 10, and 13.

Nomination Fees:
Entry to all Events $100, Pistol Events Only – $50, Rifle Events Only – $70. Juniors half price.
Event nominations include sausage sizzle each day.
Nominations to be received by Sunday, 11th May, 2025.

Current SSAA and Grading cards must be produced at Registration.
No grading card is automatic entry to the highest grade with 3 competitors.
Organisers reserve the right to alter the order or number of events as required on the day.

Camping and Caravans permitted at the Range from Thursday to Monday, Male and Female toilets and hot showers located at Range 2.
